Different implements in a BDSM dungeon.

A spanking implement is an object which the spanker uses to spank the spankee's buttocks with. Some of these implements are made exclusively for this purpose while other implements originally serve some other (e.g. household or sports) purpose but are also occasionally used for spanking.

• rebenque (a type of whip used by gauchos in South America)
• chicotte (a type of whip used in parts of Africa)
• sjambok (a type of whip used in South Africa)
• rubber hose
