Sensual spanking

A sensual spanking is a spanking designed to be a sensual experience for both partners, but in particular for the spankee. The gentle spanking itself is interspersed with other soft touches of the skin, usually excluding genital areas (which is found in erotic spanking). Sensual spanking focuses the experience of exciting the senses and can be given just like a sensual massage.
Typical elements of sensual spanking include:
- lots of time, no hurry
- a relaxed, non-punitive, but also less playful and more 'serious' atmosphere (as in sensation play)
- a comfortable spanking position
- close body contact
- gradual undressing in phases
- nudity (of the spankee, but possibly also partial or full nudity of the spanker)
- sensual caressing, kneading, rubbing, and massaging the spankee's body, possibly using some (warm) oil
- mixing gentle, pleasant touch with soft and harder spanks
