This page is the place we can use to organize our community of people who are active contributors to this wiki.
[edit] Recommended: log in
It is not required but recommended to create a login for writing in this wiki (see the link in the very top right corner). For one thing, it is very useful for discussions as you can automatically sign and date your postings on the discussion pages by typing four tilde signs (like this: ~~~~). For another thing, it improves your anonymity as any edit you make will be credited to your login name (which can be a pseudonym, of course) and this will effectively hide your IP address.
[edit] Site promotion
We urgently need more people to become active participants in the Spanking Art wiki. The more people we are, the better this wiki will evolve. In addition, it will also make it easier for us to revert potential vandalism. Therefore, we should promote the wiki in places where it will come to the attention of potential contributors. Everyone is encouraged to help promote our site at the right places, such as forums, web groups, blogs, mailing lists, other wikis, and guestbooks. To make this promotion a bit more organized, we keep a log on Site promotion.
If you want to know which are the most popular articles in this wiki (in terms of page views), see Popular articles. Note that the page view counts are not accurate because they were deactivated by Wikia in autumn 2005 and reactivated after the move to our new host in February 2008.

Keeping a wiki nice and organized means a lot of "chores" in addition to adding and improving articles. The Special pages help us in this task. Here are some jobs you can do if you want to help (in order of importance):

Articles and files in this wiki can be deleted according to our Article and image deletion policy, but this can only be done by administrators. If you want an article or a file to be deleted, please put a note (with a brief explanation and signed) on Spanking Art:Admin requests. (We'll create a template to be used for deletion requests later.) You can also use this page for other requests that need the action of an administrator, such as requests to block a user or IP address.
In urgent cases, put a note on User talk:Spankart. A list of all current administrators is here.

Statistical data can be found on Statistics and old data is still available on the Wikia statistics.
The first two years had an average growth of 45 new articles per month. The mean article size, as of April 2007, is 1806 bytes.
