Hundreds of mainstream movies and television series contain spanking scenes. These range from child spanking scenes in a domestic or school corporal punishment situation to adult spanking scenes with disciplinary, humorous and/or erotic connotations.

Spanking art fans all over the world have begun to compile lists of movies that feature spanking scenes, and share these lists in web groups, forums and on websites. Clips and stills of such scenes are also often shared.

For non-mainstream (e.g. erotic or pornographic) films that were created particularly for a clientele who likes to watch spankings, see spanking videos.

  • 401 Blows - compilations of spanking scenes from movies and TV, orderable videos on VHS and DVD. Free stills.
  • Cinema Swats was a series of video compilations of spanking scenes from mainstream movies and television shows, assembled by Dan Rivera. Six volumes of Cinema Swats were offered for sale, and were quite popular in the spanking community (they were shown at SCONY parties, for example). Sometime between July and September 2003, Rivera ceased production of these tapes, ceased advertising them for general sale, and closed the PO box through which he had been doing business. There was dispute as to his reasons for doing this. According to one poster on soc.sexuality.spanking, Riviera had cited decreasing sales and the increasing ease of digitally copying and exchanging video clips. However, there had also been posted comments that this collection infringed copyrights, and it was at least hinted that the matter would be reported to the legal offices of some of the movie studios whose films were included in the collections. Whether this was part of the reason for Rivera's decision has been disputed. Although this collection is no longer advertised for sale, according to posts on soc.sexuality.spanking, copies are now available by sending email to "moviesbill at aol dot com".
