A spanking newsgroup is a newsgroup devoted to some aspect of spanking such as spanking in parenting, erotic spanking, or spanking art.

There are also newsgroups that are not devoted to spanking — that is, spanking is not their primary topic — but where spanking content is posted with some regularity. These include:

• alt.sex.stories (open to any erotic story, some author post spanking stories regularly)
• alt.sex.stories.moderated (like the above, but moderated to keep out spam)
• alt.sex.fetish.diapers (primarily devoted to adult baby and related ageplay content, but this not infrequently includes spanking as a secondary element. Now much infested by spam.)
• soc.subculture.bondage (devoted to BDSM in general)
