[edit] Spanking in Video Games

For Other Art Forms, I propose you add a page on Spanking in Video Games. I'll post information one game below, but I know that there is at LEAST one other video game I recall mentioned on Handprints' guestbook. Best, KG.

Video games: 1. Shining in the Darkness - a video game with some cartoonish animation for the Sega Genesis. The game is Shining in the Darkness, the prequel to the Shining Force series of RPGs. Half way through the game, there's a bit of an intermission. Pyra Myst, an Elf girl that goes adventuring with you, encounters her mother at the tavern. Mrs. Myst is rather pissed that Pyra ran away to go adventuring, so she grabs her, holds her bent over in one arm, and begins spanking her little girl. Then, Mrs. Myst asks you a question. If you answer yes, she sets Pyra down and the game continues. If you answer no, she spanks Pyra some more. This can go on indefinitely, until you finally say no. Strange thing is, they make no reference at all to this scene throughout the rest of the game. I think I still have the animated GIF I made of Pyra's spanking in my ftp space, if anyone missed it the first time around.

Good suggestion, thanks. I added a Spanking in computer and video games link you can use to start that article. --Spankart 21:51, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

That particular spanking has been uploaded here. I managed to find the afore-mentioned clip I created in one of my Yahoo Groups. And, I must admit, it was rather pleasing to see a post I made about this on soc.sexuality.spanking quoted here and in the Handprints' guestbook. (After a quick Google Groups search, it seems I posted as Otter back then.)

Here's the original thread, FWIW...

I felt it would make a good "picture of the month". I am changing the picture on the main page approximately once a month. After a painting in August and a drawing in September I chose a photo for October 2006. Do you object to having your picture on the main page? BTW, please sign your writing on talk pages with four tildes (~~~~), this will automatically create a signature for you. --Spankart 15:24, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WHAT HAPPENED???

Whats happened with the Main Page? Someone has taken away all information! /Qqll

Just vandalism. If it happens again, just go to the history and revert. Spankart 20:40, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

And all the pictures, where are they gone? Is that vandalism too? /Qlql

There has been an image policy change, photo of minors can not be contemporary minors, so the photo must either be 50 years and older, or of the be of the licenser (assuming the licenser is no longer a miner but younger that 51+ years --Roguebfl (talk) 21:51, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Logo

I like the logo in the upper left, but I'm wondering if there couldn't be a variety of skin tones represented. So often on the 'net I see Caucasian bottoms getting spanked but non-Caucasians seem a rarity. Would it be possible to see a brown bottom in the upper left every now and then? Candice Critic 00:28, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

I think the bigger issue on that is the redness artical need some who knows what ther talkign about expand it to other skin tones. --Roguebfl (talk) 01:58, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
PS it's normal to put a new topic at the bottom of a talk page ;) --Roguebfl (talk) 01:58, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
Oh... bottom of the page... got it. Should it be moved now? Candice Critic 03:18, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for your feedback on the logo, Candice Critic. I have plans for a new logo but it will take a while for me to come up with new logo candidates. Maybe I'll find a way to incorporate your "(non-)Caucasian skin-tone" point. Technically, your suggestion of swapping the logo from time to time would be possible, however I strongly feel that we should not do this, for the sake of using one single version of logo consistently. Personally I'd like to go for an even more abstract logo, possibly without any skin tone at all, or a more ambiguous skin tone. Spankart 07:30, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Cupid

Prehaps the little cherubs need the bottoms reddened to fit better? --Roguebfl (talk) 09:54, 15 August 2008 (BST)

Yes, excellent idea. Done. :) Spankart (talk) 10:40, 15 August 2008 (BST)
