I have never understood the notion that Superman couldn’t spank a woman, or have sex with her, because a being that powerful could accidentally kill a human. How did Clark Kent shake hands then? Superman has enormous power – I can’t recollect if it the limits of his physical strength were ever determined – but he has an equally superhuman subtlety and nuance. Just as he could come to a stop on a dime, he could moderate the use of power so that no human need fear that he should forget his strength. So of course Superman could, and did, spank women.
