[edit] Recently uploaded Photographs
Hey, I'd just like to check, are you QUITE sure the new uploades, especially the dr. Denton things are keeping within all previous limitations: Spanking_Art:Boy_scout_controversy#New_host.2C_new_policies I really think that images like these:
Really shouldn't be uploaded, not just because of site rules, but appearences - I don't think they're totally suitable for this wiki given history and strongly believe they ought to be deleted, along with any similar ones~ —The preceding unsigned comment was added by RobM (talk • contribs) 12:40, 4 March 2009 (UTC-5)
- I agree and deleted Image:45135.jpg. I don't think Image:Denton.jpg in in breach with any of our image policies, as it is clearly a non-photorealistic drawing. Which do you mean by 'similar ones', RobM? --Spankart (talk) 18:41, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
- Eep, my bad. I remembered one of them was obviously a drawing so was fine, and remembered the second was an image plus text. I did not think make sure I remembered the image wasn't a photo, I was was focusing on the text. --Roguebfl (talk) 19:13, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
- Well, I felt the figure on the right of the second Denton Image was the same as the first image, I could be wrong, but I thought that was the same figure.
- As for similar images, I found these two uploads, I think both by User:Domino
- I though there was a third one, can't see it now. Not a worry, it might have been my mistake. By the way, welcome back Spankart, I know Ai was worried about you - I hope your hoilday survived okay~ RobM 20:32, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

- Thanks! I deleted those two. And yeah, I'm doing fine. I'm in Hobart at the moment, and I like the small city. Unlike the rest of Australia, there are plenty of birch trees growing here... --Spankart (talk) 11:08, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Double barrelled links without the line?
I've seen you revise a number of my edits - to correct something I maddeningly can't see to get right. How DO you manage to get the _underslash_ not to show up? The reason I'm writing [sex_toy|sex toys]s with the break edit to the link is because I can't get it right. Can you advise on what I'm doing wrong? No matter how many times I check the capitalization and preview it dozens of times it still comes out as: sex_toys when I do it. RobM 21:01, 23 June 2009 (BST)
- The Wiki software auto puts in the underscore. Hence you don't but them in wiki links. So you simply write [[sex toy]]s --Roguebfl (talk) 21:05, 23 June 2009 (BST)
- I do that, I just get redlinks! Now I can't replicate it because the links are behaving themselves and I'm gnawing my table in frustration.
- RobM 21:19, 23 June 2009 (BST)
- Capitalization of the words beyond the first matter. sex toys and Sex toys works but sex Toys and Sex Toys does not. In the case of your redirect it came up red because you made that one before the relevant page existed. --Roguebfl (talk) 21:23, 23 June 2009 (BST)
- The buckeridge redirect was red at the time I made it, yes, I thought a few seconds after I'd made it that I'd submitted the first part of the buckeridge article to stop the link being red... seems it either didn't take it. I carried on editing for another half hour only to find that the page was still blank. Thanks for fixing my spelling, btw, seems I totally failed to spot half of those.
- Not sure about these red-links though, I knew that capitals affected it but still got redlinks if I didn't use the under_slash. I shall keep my eye open and try and see what else I mist be doing wrong. Thanks for the help~

- On more small point there are rare time when
is needed on the wiki. while
works it actually parsed into
(as the wiki is actually XHTML), so using
has slighting increase in server load over
making
preferable. --Roguebfl (talk) 21:47, 23 June 2009 (BST)

[edit] Kick/Ban
Heyas
You got the kickban powers for Kemal?
I'm getting a number of emo messages left for me on my profile by him - and he's breaking the new Godwins Law. If you check history, I removed the old edits since I don't think we want half his stuff turning up on webcrawlers. Might I suggest locking the account if you are able and setting up a possible IP ban. I'm not sure the best way to contact spankart but I think its appropriate and would appreciate if you arn't able to evaluate this thing and elevate it to his level if you concur. Thanks~ RobM 01:13, 11 July 2009 (BST)
PS: Lets hope we're not banning the whole of Qutar, that mistake has already been made.
- No, Afraid not. The only 'active' users with those powers are Spankart, Ai, and Stoner. The best way to Contact Spankart if you don't want to leave a public comment on his talk page, then use E-mail this user from the sidebar on his talk page. Spankart is familar enough with the IP bans from stopping the bots that I don't think he will ban all of Qutar unless they only have one ISP --Roguebfl (talk) 01:35, 11 July 2009 (BST)
- eMail sent, thanks~
- Oh, and qutar does have one IP, that was the joke. There was a widely circulated regular media story when the Full Wikipedia put the entire country on the ban list after recieving a certain amount of determined vandalism. I do believe they've elected leave the entire country banned to this day. RobM 01:56, 11 July 2009 (BST)
- Thank you. Candice Critic 04:49, 13 July 2009 (BST)

[edit] Professor Bob
Check my talk as well. Finally noticed I had something to respond to, after about half a year. I need to learn how to use a wiki already. ProfessorBob 05:39, 22 September 2009 (BST)

[edit] Minors?
Hi Rogue, re these categorisations: [1] and [2] -- do you know whether the girls are above or below the age of majority? Either F/F or f/f could well be the case, hard to say without reading the story behind the illustrations. --Spankart (talk) 12:53, 18 October 2009 (BST)
- I would say they are f/f. Being I would place them in secondary school. I considered them being in a sorority but the uniform dissuaded me. But even if they are sorority the would put the on the border of the age of majority. —Roguebfl (talk) 18:20, 18 October 2009 (BST)
[edit] BBB Logo okay?
Hello Rogue,
I uploaded the Image:Bbb_logo.png and put it under CC-BY-SA. Is that okay with you? I would like to make Boyz Being Boyz the next Featured Article and I thought the logo would be a good image for that purpose. Is it okay? --Spankart (talk) 07:35, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
- I'm fine with this. —Roguebfl (talk) 14:21, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
